New York University, New York, USA has added a three week class in January dedicated to the life and times of Bob Marley. Their Tisch School of the Arts will run the course, "Topics in Recorded Music: Bob Marley and Post Colonial Music."
The course will be thought by Vivien Goldman who did public relations work for Marley in 1975 before writing two books about him. The two days per week class costs $2,822 and is open to anyone with a high school diploma. The two-credit class will be held Tuesday and Thursday nights from Jan. 7 through Jan 26.
