Bob Marley would have been 70 years old in 2015, so the Marley family is marking the milestone with a yearlong commemoration of his music featuring reissues, and new collections with a lot of unreleased material from the Marley family vaults.
The Marley family is granting Universal Music Group access, for the first time, to its extensive private vault of previously unreleased music, video releases and new live albums.
The first to be released is Bob Marley and the Wailers' Easy Skanking in Boston '78, a previously unreleased live CD/DVD, to be released on February 10th.
Universal promises to release more new Marley collections and deluxe editions of some of Marley's LPs with unreleased bonus material, throughout 2015.
