German customs seizes cocaine destined for Vatican

German customs officers at Leipzig airport found a shipment of 340 grams (12 ounces) of cocaine destined for the Vatican in January. 

The drug was packed into 14 condoms inside a shipment of cushions shipped from South America.

The package was addressed to the Vatican postal office which means means any of the Catholic mini-state’s 800 residents could have claimed it.
